- Cod fillets
- 4 (6-ounce each)
- Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup, grated
- Breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup
- Garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon
- Salt
- 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon
- Butter
- 4 tablespoons
- Lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons, freshly squeezed
- Fresh parsley
- 2 tablespoons, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a shallow dish, combine the grated Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well to ensure an even distribution of flavors.
- Pat the cod fillets dry with paper towels to remove any excess moisture. This will help the crust adhere better.
- Dip each cod fillet into the Parmesan mixture, pressing gently to ensure the coating sticks evenly on all sides.
- Place the coated cod fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
