Servings: 4

Ingredients

Olive oil
2 tablespoons
Egg
1, beaten
Salt
1/2 teaspoon
Black pepper
1/2 teaspoon
Dried rosemary
1 teaspoon
Garlic powder
1 teaspoon
Bread crumbs
1 cup, preferably italian-style
Parmesan cheese
1 cup, grated
Lamb chops
4 (about 1 inch thick)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a shallow dish, mix together the grated Parmesan cheese, bread crumbs, garlic powder, dried rosemary, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
  3. Dip each lamb chop into the beaten egg, allowing any excess to drip off, then coat it with the Parmesan mixture, pressing gently to ensure it adheres well.
  4. Heat the olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, carefully add the lamb chops to the skillet.
  5. Cook the lamb chops for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown and create a nice crust.
  6. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the lamb chops reach an internal temperature of 145°F (medium-rare) or your desired level of doneness.
  7. Remove the skillet from the oven and let the lamb chops rest for 5 minutes before serving to allow the juices to redistribute.
  8. Serve hot and enjoy your delicious Parmesan crusted lamb chops!
