Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a shallow dish, mix together the grated Parmesan cheese, bread crumbs, garlic powder, dried rosemary, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
- Dip each lamb chop into the beaten egg, allowing any excess to drip off, then coat it with the Parmesan mixture, pressing gently to ensure it adheres well.
- Heat the olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, carefully add the lamb chops to the skillet.
- Cook the lamb chops for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown and create a nice crust.
- Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the lamb chops reach an internal temperature of 145°F (medium-rare) or your desired level of doneness.
- Remove the skillet from the oven and let the lamb chops rest for 5 minutes before serving to allow the juices to redistribute.
- Serve hot and enjoy your delicious Parmesan crusted lamb chops!
Tips
- For an extra burst of flavor, marinate the lamb chops in olive oil, garlic, and rosemary for a few hours before coating them.
- If you prefer a spicier kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the Parmesan mixture.
- Serve with a side of mint yogurt sauce by mixing plain yogurt with fresh mint, lemon juice, salt, and pepper for a refreshing contrast.
