Parmesan Garlic Roasted Turnips and Potatoes

This delicious side dish features roasted turnips and potatoes seasoned with parmesan cheese and garlic.

Ingredients

  • Fresh parsley (2 tablespoons, chopped)
  • Black pepper (1/4 teaspoon)
  • Salt (1/2 teaspoon)
  • Parmesan cheese (1/4 cup, grated)
  • Garlic powder (1 teaspoon)
  • Olive oil (2 tablespoons)
  • Potatoes (4 medium, peeled and cut into cubes)
  • Turnips (4 medium, peeled and cut into cubes)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the turnips, potatoes, olive oil, garlic powder, parmesan cheese, salt, and black pepper. Toss until well coated.
  3. Spread the mixture in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  4. Roast in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the turnips and potatoes are golden brown and crispy.
  5. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with fresh parsley.
  6. Serve hot as a delicious side dish.
