Ingredients
- Pastrami
- 1 lb, sliced
- Taco shells
- 8 small corn or flour taco shells
- Swiss cheese
- 1 cup, shredded
- Sauerkraut
- 1 cup, drained
- Pickles
- 1/2 cup, sliced
- Mustard
- 1/4 cup
- Hot sauce
- 1-2 tablespoons, adjust to taste
Instructions
- In a skillet over medium heat, warm the sliced pastrami until heated through, about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.
- While the pastrami warms, prepare the spicy mustard sauce by combining the mustard and hot sauce in a small bowl. Mix well, tasting and adjusting the hot sauce to achieve your preferred spice level.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and warm the taco shells according to package instructions for about 5-7 minutes.
- Once the taco shells are warm, spread a generous layer of the spicy mustard sauce on the inside of each shell.
- Fill each taco shell with a layer of the warm pastrami, followed by a sprinkle of shredded Swiss cheese, a spoonful of sauerkraut, and a few slices of pickles.
