1/4 cup, for drizzling
Mango
1, peeled and diced
Peaches
2, peeled and sliced
Cinnamon
1 teaspoon
Vanilla extract
1 teaspoon
Milk
1/2 cup
Eggs
3, large
Bread slices
6 slices, preferably thick-cut

Instructions

  1. In a shallow bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and cinnamon until well combined.
  2. Dip each bread slice into the egg mixture, allowing it to soak for about 10 seconds on each side, ensuring it is well-coated.
  3. Heat a large non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat and melt a pat of butter.
  4. Carefully place the soaked bread slices onto the skillet and cook until golden brown on each side, about 2-3 minutes per side. Add more butter as needed.
  5. Once the French toast is cooked, remove it from the skillet and keep warm on a plate covered with foil.
  6. In the same skillet, add the sliced peaches and diced mango. Cook for 2-3 minutes, until they are slightly softened and fragrant.
  7. Serve the French toast topped generously with the warm peaches and mangoes.
