Serves 6

Ingredients

Ripe mangoes
2 large, peeled and pitted
Ripe peaches
4 medium, peeled and pitted
Lemon juice
2 tablespoons, freshly squeezed
Sugar
3/4 cup
Water
1/2 cup

Instructions

  1. Begin by preparing your fruits. Peel, pit, and chop the ripe peaches and mangoes into smaller pieces for easier blending.
  2. In a blender or food processor, combine the chopped peaches and mangoes. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  3. Add the freshly squeezed lemon juice, sugar, and water to the blended fruit. Blend again until all ingredients are well incorporated and the mixture is smooth.
  4. Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker. Churn according to the manufacturer's instructions until the sorbet reaches a soft-serve consistency.
  5. Transfer the sorbet to a lidded container and freeze for at least 2 hours to firm up.
  6. Once ready, scoop the peach and mango sorbet into bowls or cones. Enjoy this refreshing treat chilled!

Tips

  • 💡 For an extra burst of flavor, add a few mint leaves to the blender when mixing the fruit.
  • 💡 If you don't have an ice cream maker, pour the mixture into a shallow dish and freeze it. Stir every 30 minutes with a fork for the first 2 hours to break up ice crystals.
  • 💡 Swap out the peaches for nectarines for a slightly different flavor profile.
