Ingredients
- Ripe mangoes
- 2 large, peeled and pitted
- Ripe peaches
- 4 medium, peeled and pitted
- Lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons, freshly squeezed
- Sugar
- 3/4 cup
- Water
- 1/2 cup
Instructions
- Begin by preparing your fruits. Peel, pit, and chop the ripe peaches and mangoes into smaller pieces for easier blending.
- In a blender or food processor, combine the chopped peaches and mangoes. Blend until smooth and creamy.
- Add the freshly squeezed lemon juice, sugar, and water to the blended fruit. Blend again until all ingredients are well incorporated and the mixture is smooth.
- Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker. Churn according to the manufacturer's instructions until the sorbet reaches a soft-serve consistency.
- Transfer the sorbet to a lidded container and freeze for at least 2 hours to firm up.
- Once ready, scoop the peach and mango sorbet into bowls or cones. Enjoy this refreshing treat chilled!
Tips
- For an extra burst of flavor, add a few mint leaves to the blender when mixing the fruit.
- If you don't have an ice cream maker, pour the mixture into a shallow dish and freeze it. Stir every 30 minutes with a fork for the first 2 hours to break up ice crystals.
- Swap out the peaches for nectarines for a slightly different flavor profile.
