Servings: 8

Ingredients

Peaches
4 cups, sliced
Nectarines
4 cups, sliced
Granulated sugar
1/2 cup
All-purpose flour
2 tablespoons
Cinnamon
1 teaspoon
Lemon juice
2 tablespoons
Unsalted butter
1/2 cup, cold and cubed
Brown sugar
1/3 cup
Rolled oats
1 cup
Chopped nuts
1/2 cup (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the sliced peaches, sliced nectarines, granulated sugar, all-purpose flour, cinnamon, and lemon juice. Toss until the fruits are well coated.
  3. Transfer the fruit mixture to a greased 9x13 inch baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine the cold cubed butter, brown sugar, rolled oats, and chopped nuts (if using). Use your fingers or a pastry cutter to mix until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  5. Sprinkle the crumble topping evenly over the fruit mixture, ensuring good coverage.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the fruit is bubbling and the topping is golden brown.
  7. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
  8. Serve warm and enjoy with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream, if desired.
