
Peach and Raspberry French Toast
This delicious French toast is made with fresh peaches, juicy raspberries, and a hint of cinnamon.
Ingredients
- Butter (2 tablespoons)
- Maple syrup (2 tablespoons)
- Raspberries (1/2 cup)
- Peaches (2, sliced)
- Cinnamon (1/2 teaspoon)
- Vanilla extract (1 teaspoon)
- Milk (1/2 cup)
- Eggs (2)
- Bread slices (4 slices)
Instructions
- In a shallow bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and cinnamon.
- Dip each bread slice into the egg mixture, allowing it to soak for a few seconds on each side.
- Heat a large non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat and melt 1 tablespoon of butter.
- Place the soaked bread slices onto the skillet and cook until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
- Remove the cooked French toast from the skillet and keep warm.
- In the same skillet, melt the remaining tablespoon of butter.
- Add the sliced peaches and cook for 2-3 minutes, until slightly softened.
- Add the raspberries and cook for an additional minute.
- Serve the French toast topped with the cooked peaches and raspberries.
- Drizzle with maple syrup and enjoy!
