Instructions
- Start by peeling and pitting the peaches, then chop them into small pieces.
- In a blender or food processor, combine the chopped peaches and fresh raspberries. Puree until smooth, but leave some small chunks for texture if desired.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the peach and raspberry puree, granulated sugar, heavy cream, whole milk, vanilla extract, and lemon juice until fully combined. Taste and adjust sweetness with additional sugar if necessary.
- Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer's instructions, usually around 20-25 minutes.
- Once the ice cream reaches a soft-serve consistency, transfer it to a lidded container. Freeze for at least 4 hours to firm up before serving.
- Serve the peach and raspberry ice cream in bowls or cones, garnished with additional fresh raspberries or peach slices if desired. Enjoy the refreshing taste of summer!
Tips
- For a creamier texture, consider adding a tablespoon of corn syrup to the mixture before churning.
- You can also substitute half of the peaches with mango for a tropical twist.
- If you don’t have an ice cream maker, pour the mixture into a shallow dish and freeze. Stir every 30 minutes until the ice cream is firm.
