Refreshing Peach Iced Tea

Ingredients
- Water
- 8 cups
- Black tea bags
- 4 bags
- Fresh peaches
- 3, pitted and sliced
- Sugar
- 1/2 cup (adjust to taste)
- Fresh mint leaves
- 1/2 cup, plus extra for garnish
- Ice cubes

Instructions
- In a large pot, bring the water to a rolling boil.
- Add the sliced peaches to the boiling water, reduce the heat to low, and allow to simmer for about 10 minutes to infuse the flavor.
- Once the peach slices have softened, use a slotted spoon to remove them from the pot, leaving the peach-infused water behind.
- Stir the sugar into the hot peach water until fully dissolved. Adjust sweetness according to preference.
- Remove the pot from heat and add the black tea bags, allowing them to steep for 5 minutes. Remove the tea bags afterward.
- Let the tea cool to room temperature, then transfer to the refrigerator to chill for at least 1 hour.
- To serve, fill glasses with ice cubes, pour the chilled tea over the ice, and garnish with the cooked peach slices and fresh mint leaves.
