Fresh peaches
2, thinly sliced
Fresh mint leaves
1/2 cup
Black tea bags
4
Boiling water
4 cups
Honey
1/4 cup, or to taste
Ice cubes
2 cups
Fresh mint sprigs
4, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Start by thinly slicing the fresh peaches. In a large pitcher, combine the peach slices and fresh mint leaves.
  2. Using a muddler or the back of a wooden spoon, gently crush the peaches and mint to release their flavors.
  3. Add the black tea bags to the pitcher, then pour in the boiling water. Allow the tea to steep for about 5 minutes.
  4. After the tea has steeped, remove and discard the tea bags.
  5. Stir in the honey, making sure it fully dissolves into the hot tea.
  6. Add the ice cubes to the pitcher, stirring until the tea is chilled.
  7. Serve the peach mint iced tea in glasses filled with additional ice, if desired. Garnish each glass with a fresh mint sprig.
