Pepperoni Stromboli

This delicious pepperoni stromboli is filled with pepperoni, cheese, and a flavorful tomato sauce.

Ingredients

  • Parmesan cheese (2 tablespoons, grated)
  • Olive oil (1 tablespoon)
  • Garlic powder (1/2 teaspoon)
  • Italian seasoning (1 teaspoon)
  • Tomato sauce (1/2 cup)
  • Mozzarella cheese (1 cup, shredded)
  • Pepperoni slices (1 cup)
  • Pizza dough (1 pound)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F.
  2. Roll out the pizza dough into a rectangle shape on a lightly floured surface.
  3. Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a border around the edges.
  4. Sprinkle the Italian seasoning and garlic powder over the sauce.
  5. Layer the pepperoni slices on top of the sauce.
  6. Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese over the pepperoni.
  7. Starting from one of the long sides, tightly roll up the dough into a log shape.
  8. Place the stromboli seam-side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  9. Brush the top of the stromboli with olive oil and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese.
  10. Bake for 25 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  11. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
