Servings: 4

Ingredients

Pizza dough
1 pound, store-bought or homemade
Tomato sauce
1/2 cup
Garlic powder
1 teaspoon
Italian seasoning
1 teaspoon
Pepperoni slices
4 ounces
Mozzarella cheese
1 cup, shredded
Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup, grated
Olive oil
1 tablespoon

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. On a lightly floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into a large rectangle, approximately 12x15 inches.
  3. Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a 1-inch border around the edges.
  4. Sprinkle the garlic powder and Italian seasoning over the sauce for added flavor.
  5. Layer the pepperoni slices evenly on top of the sauce.
  6. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the pepperoni, ensuring even coverage.
  7. Starting from one of the long sides, tightly roll the dough into a log shape, making sure to tuck in the filling as you go.
  8. Place the stromboli seam-side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  9. Brush the top of the stromboli with olive oil and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese for a delicious crust.
  10. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  11. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before slicing into thick pieces.
