Philly Cheesesteak Dog

Ingredients
- Beef hot dogs
- 4
- Hot dog buns
- 4
- Provolone cheese
- 4 slices
- Green bell pepper
- 1, sliced
- Onion
- 1, sliced
- Olive oil
- 2 tablespoons
- Salt

Instructions
- Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium heat.
- Grill the hot dogs until they are heated through and have nice grill marks, about 5 minutes per side.
- While the hot dogs are grilling, heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add the sliced onions and bell pepper to the skillet. Sauté until they are soft and caramelized, about 10 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Once the hot dogs are done, place each one in a hot dog bun.
- Top each hot dog generously with the sautéed onion and pepper mixture.
- Place a slice of provolone cheese on top of each hot dog.
- Return the hot dogs to the grill or place under the broiler for a few minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
