
Pico de Gallo Con Camarones
This refreshing and flavorful dish combines pico de gallo with succulent shrimp.
Ingredients
- Tortilla chips (for serving)
- Black pepper (1/4 teaspoon)
- Salt (1/2 teaspoon)
- Lime juice (2 tablespoons)
- Jalapeno (1, seeded and finely chopped)
- Cilantro (1/4 cup, chopped)
- Red onion (1/2 cup, finely chopped)
- Tomatoes (4 medium, diced)
- Shrimp (1 pound, peeled and deveined)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the diced tomatoes, red onion, cilantro, jalapeno, lime juice, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to make the pico de gallo.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add the shrimp. Cook for 2-3 minutes per side, or until pink and cooked through.
- Remove the shrimp from the skillet and let them cool slightly. Once cooled, chop the shrimp into bite-sized pieces.
- Add the chopped shrimp to the pico de gallo and mix gently to combine.
- Serve the pico de gallo con camarones with tortilla chips for dipping.
