Granulated sugar
1/2 cup
Salt
1/4 teaspoon
Eggs
3 large
Milk
1 cup
Vanilla extract
1 teaspoon
Pineapple
1 cup, diced
Cherries
1 cup, pitted and halved
Powdered sugar
for dusting

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and generously grease a 9-inch pie dish with butter or non-stick spray.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, and salt until well combined.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat the eggs until frothy, then add the milk and vanilla extract. Mix well until fully incorporated.
  4. Gradually pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, whisking continuously until the batter is smooth and free of lumps.
  5. Evenly spread the diced pineapple and pitted cherries across the bottom of the greased pie dish.
  6. Pour the batter over the fruit, ensuring it covers the cherries and pineapple evenly.
