This homemade pizza recipe is easy to make and customizable with your favorite toppings.

Ingredients

  • Black pepper (to taste)
  • Salt (to taste)
  • Dried oregano (1 teaspoon)
  • Garlic powder (1 teaspoon)
  • Olive oil (1 tablespoon)
  • Toppings of your choice (as desired)
  • Mozzarella cheese (2 cups, shredded)
  • Pizza sauce (1 cup)
  • Pizza dough (1 pound)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 475°F (245°C).
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness.
  3. Transfer the dough to a greased baking sheet or pizza stone.
  4. Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
  5. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
  6. Add your desired toppings, such as pepperoni, mushrooms, bell peppers, or onions.
  7. Drizzle the olive oil over the toppings.
  8. Sprinkle the garlic powder, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper over the pizza.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  10. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
