Servings: 4

Ingredients

Ground beef
1 pound
Italian seasoning
1 teaspoon
Garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon
Salt
1/2 teaspoon
Black pepper
1/4 teaspoon
Burger buns
4, split
Mozzarella cheese
1 cup, shredded
Marinara sauce
1/2 cup
Pepperoni slices
1/2 cup

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until the ingredients are well combined but be careful not to overwork the meat.
  2. Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape them into burger patties, making a slight indentation in the center of each to prevent puffing during cooking.
  3. Preheat your grill or skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the patties and cook for about 5 minutes on one side.
  4. Flip the patties and top each with a generous spoonful of marinara sauce, a handful of shredded mozzarella, and a few pepperoni slices.
  5. Cover the grill or skillet with a lid to allow the cheese to melt, cooking for an additional 3-4 minutes or until the burgers reach your desired level of doneness.
  6. Carefully remove the patties from the grill or skillet and place each one on a burger bun. Serve immediately.
