Instructions
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 400°F or 200°C).
- In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
- Place the pork chops in a shallow dish or a resealable plastic bag. Pour the marinade over the pork chops, ensuring they are evenly coated. If using a dish, cover with plastic wrap; if using a bag, seal it and massage the marinade into the meat. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours in the refrigerator for more intense flavor.
- Once marinated, remove the pork chops from the marinade and let any excess drip off.
- Place the pork chops on the grill and cook for 6-8 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
- Remove the pork chops from the grill and let them rest for 5 minutes before serving. This allows the juices to redistribute for maximum tenderness.
- Garnish with fresh herbs if desired and serve hot.
Tips
- For an extra kick, add some cayenne pepper to the marinade.
- These pork chops pair beautifully with grilled vegetables, a fresh salad, or mashed potatoes.
- Experiment with different spices such as cumin or oregano to give the marinade a twist.
