Water
2 cups
Prairie grain blend
1/4 cup
Cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon
Cardamom
1/4 teaspoon
Honey
1-2 tablespoons, to taste
Milk
1/2 cup, or to taste

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a boil over medium heat.
  2. Once boiling, add 1/4 cup of prairie grain blend, 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon, and 1/4 teaspoon of cardamom to the water.
  3. Reduce the heat to low and let the mixture simmer for 5 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.
  4. After 5 minutes, remove the saucepan from heat and let it steep for an additional 5 minutes to enhance the flavor.
  5. Strain the mixture into mugs, discarding the solid grains and spices to leave a smooth brew.
  6. Stir in honey to taste, adjusting the sweetness according to your preference.
  7. Add 1/2 cup of milk to the strained mixture and stir until well combined.
