Cooked prawns
1 pound, peeled and deveined
Iceberg lettuce
1 medium head, shredded
Fresh dill
2 tablespoons, chopped (for garnish)
Lemon
1, cut into wedges (for garnish)
Salt
to taste
Pepper
to taste
Cocktail sauce
1 cup
Ketchup
1/2 cup
Horseradish sauce
2 tablespoons
Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon
Lemon juice
1 tablespoon
Hot sauce (optional)
to taste

Instructions

  1. To prepare the cocktail sauce, in a medium bowl, combine ketchup, horseradish sauce, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, and hot sauce (if using). Mix well and set aside.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the cooked prawns and the prepared cocktail sauce. Gently fold to coat the prawns evenly.
  3. On serving plates, create a bed of shredded iceberg lettuce.
  4. Divide the prawn mixture evenly among the plates, placing it generously on top of the lettuce.
  5. Garnish each plate with fresh dill and a squeeze of fresh lemon juice.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Serve immediately and enjoy this delightful appetizer!
