- Ground beef
- 1 pound
- Breadcrumbs
- 1 cup
- Eggs
- 2, beaten
- Onion
- 1 medium, finely chopped
- Garlic
- 2 cloves, minced
- Fresh parsley
- 1/4 cup, chopped
- Salt
- 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon
- Paprika
- 1 teaspoon
- Olive oil
- 2 tablespoons
- Tomato sauce
- 1 cup
- Red wine
- 1/2 cup
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, beaten eggs, chopped onion, minced garlic, chopped parsley, salt, black pepper, and paprika. Mix thoroughly until the ingredients are well incorporated.
- Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a greased baking dish.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the tomato sauce and red wine until smooth. Pour this mixture evenly over the meatloaf.
- Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 45 minutes.
- After 45 minutes, remove the foil and allow the meatloaf to bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the meatloaf is cooked through.
- Once cooked, remove from the oven and let the pulpeta rest for about 5-10 minutes before slicing.
- Serve the pulpeta warm, drizzled with the tomato and red wine sauce from the baking dish.
