Pylsur, often referred to as Icelandic hot dogs, are a beloved street food in Iceland, known for their unique blend of flavors and high-quality ingredients. Ingredients

Lamb and pork sausages

2 tablespoons, chopped

Remoulade sauce

Mustard

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
  2. Grill the lamb and pork sausages for about 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are cooked through and have a nice char.
  3. While the sausages are grilling, lightly toast the hot dog buns on the grill for 1-2 minutes until golden brown.
  4. Once the sausages are done, place one in each toasted bun.
  5. Generously top each sausage with ketchup, mustard, and remoulade sauce.
  6. Sprinkle fried onions and chopped parsley on top for added crunch and freshness.
