Quattro Formaggi Pizza

This delicious Quattro Formaggi Pizza is topped with four different types of cheese for the ultimate cheesy experience.

Ingredients

  • Salt and pepper (to taste)
  • Garlic (2 cloves, minced)
  • Olive oil (2 tablespoons)
  • Fresh basil (1/4 cup, chopped)
  • Parmesan cheese (1/4 cup, grated)
  • Gorgonzola cheese (1/4 cup, crumbled)
  • Fontina cheese (1/2 cup, shredded)
  • Mozzarella cheese (1 cup, shredded)
  • Pizza dough (1 pound)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 450°F (230°C).
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness.
  3. Transfer the dough to a baking sheet or pizza stone.
  4. In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil and minced garlic. Brush the garlic oil mixture over the pizza dough.
  5. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the dough.
  6. Next, sprinkle the fontina cheese, gorgonzola cheese, and parmesan cheese over the mozzarella.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  9. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes.
  10. Garnish with fresh chopped basil before serving.
