This delicious Quattro Formaggi Pizza is topped with four different types of cheese for the ultimate cheesy experience.
Ingredients
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
- Garlic (2 cloves, minced)
- Olive oil (2 tablespoons)
- Fresh basil (1/4 cup, chopped)
- Parmesan cheese (1/4 cup, grated)
- Gorgonzola cheese (1/4 cup, crumbled)
- Fontina cheese (1/2 cup, shredded)
- Mozzarella cheese (1 cup, shredded)
- Pizza dough (1 pound)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 450°F (230°C).
- Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness.
- Transfer the dough to a baking sheet or pizza stone.
- In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil and minced garlic. Brush the garlic oil mixture over the pizza dough.
- Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the dough.
- Next, sprinkle the fontina cheese, gorgonzola cheese, and parmesan cheese over the mozzarella.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
