Servings: 6

Ingredients

Puff pastry
1 sheet, thawed
Egg
1, beaten (for egg wash)
Salt
1/2 teaspoon
Black pepper
1/4 teaspoon
Green onions
2, chopped
Cream cheese
8 oz, softened
Radishes
1 cup, thinly sliced

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. On a lightly floured surface, roll out the puff pastry to smooth out any creases and create a slightly larger rectangle, about 1/8 inch thick.
  3. Spread the softened cream cheese evenly over the puff pastry, leaving a 1-inch border along the edges to allow for folding.
  4. Arrange the thinly sliced radishes over the cream cheese, ensuring an even distribution. Sprinkle the chopped green onions, salt, and black pepper evenly over the top.
  5. Fold the edges of the puff pastry over the filling to create a rustic border, pressing down to seal the edges well.
  6. Brush the folded edges of the pastry with the beaten egg for a beautiful golden finish when baked.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the pastry is puffed and golden brown, and the radishes are tender.
  8. Allow the pastries to cool for a few minutes before slicing into squares and serving warm or at room temperature.
