Raspados are a traditional Mexican dessert that will transport your taste buds to the vibrant streets of Mexico. This refreshing shaved ice treat is drizzled with homemade fruit syrups, topped with luscious fresh fruits, condensed milk, and whipped cream. Ingredients

Ice
2 cups
Fresh fruit (strawberries, mango, pineapple)
1 cup, diced
Fruit syrup (strawberry, mango, pineapple)
1/2 cup
Condensed milk
2 tablespoons
Whipped cream
2 dollops
Chili powder
1/2 teaspoon (optional)
Lime wedges

Instructions

  1. In a blender, place 2 cups of ice and blend until it reaches a snow-like consistency.
  2. Evenly distribute the shaved ice between two cups or bowls.
  3. Pour your choice of fruit syrup evenly over the shaved ice in each cup.
  4. Top each serving with an equal amount of diced fresh fruit.
  5. Drizzle a tablespoon of condensed milk over the top of the fruit in each cup.
  6. Add a dollop of whipped cream to each serving.
