These tempting, chewy Raspberry Oat Bars feature a delightful blend of textures and flavors. Ingredients

Raspberry jam
1 cup
Salt
1/2 teaspoon
Baking powder
1 teaspoon
Rolled oats
2 cups
All-purpose flour
1 cup
Brown sugar
1 cup, packed
Unsalted butter
1 cup, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x9-inch baking dish with a bit of butter or a non-stick spray.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the melted butter, brown sugar, flour, oats, baking powder, and salt. Stir until the mixture is well combined and starts to clump together.
  3. Press two-thirds of the oat mixture into the bottom of the prepared baking dish to form the crust, ensuring it is evenly spread and firmly packed.
  4. Spread the raspberry jam evenly over the crust. Make sure to cover the entire surface.
  5. Crumble the remaining oat mixture over the top of the raspberry jam, creating an even layer.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
  7. Allow the bars to cool completely in the baking dish before cutting into squares. This will ensure the bars hold their shape.
