Reker Med Majones (Norwegian Shrimp with Mayonnaise)

Ingredients
- Shrimp
- 500 grams, peeled and deveined
- Water
- 2 liters
- Salt
- 1 tablespoon
- Mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup
- Lemon
- juice of 1 lemon
- Garlic
- 1 clove, minced
- Fresh dill
- 2 tablespoons, finely chopped
- Black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon, freshly ground
Instructions
- Bring the water and salt to a boil in a large pot.
- Add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes, or until they turn pink. Drain and set aside to cool.
- In the meantime, make the lemon-garlic mayonnaise. In a bowl, combine the mayonnaise, lemon juice, minced garlic, and black pepper. Stir until well combined.
- Once the shrimp have cooled, add them to the mayonnaise mixture. Toss gently until the shrimp are well coated.
- Garnish the shrimp with fresh dill and serve. Enjoy this taste of Norway!
