Broccoli
1 head, cut into florets
Cauliflower
1 head, cut into florets
Olive oil
3 tablespoons
Garlic powder
1 teaspoon
Salt
1/2 teaspoon, or to taste
Black pepper
1/4 teaspoon, or to taste
Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup, freshly grated
Lemon juice
1 tablespoon (optional, for brightness)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the broccoli and cauliflower florets. Drizzle with olive oil and toss until all pieces are lightly coated.
  3. Sprinkle in garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Toss again until the florets are evenly seasoned.
  4. Spread the seasoned vegetables in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet, making sure they have room to roast and not steam.
