
Roasted Parmesan Carrots
These roasted Parmesan carrots are a delicious and healthy side dish. The carrots are seasoned with Parmesan cheese and roasted to perfection.
Ingredients
- Fresh parsley (1 tablespoon, chopped (for garnish))
- Black pepper (1/4 teaspoon)
- Salt (1/2 teaspoon)
- Garlic powder (1 teaspoon)
- Parmesan cheese (1/4 cup, grated)
- Olive oil (2 tablespoons)
- Carrots (1 pound, peeled and sliced into sticks)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
- In a large bowl, toss the carrot sticks with olive oil, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper until well coated.
- Spread the carrots in a single layer on a baking sheet.
- Roast in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the carrots are tender and golden brown, stirring once halfway through.
- Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh parsley.
- Serve hot as a side dish.
