Ingredients

Ice cubes
1 cup
Honey
2 tablespoons (adjust to taste)
Greek yogurt
1 cup
Banana
1, ripe
Mixed berries
1 cup (fresh or frozen)
Rooibos tea
1 cup (brewed and cooled)

Instructions

  1. Begin by brewing the rooibos tea. Use 1 teaspoon of loose rooibos or 1 tea bag for every cup of water. Allow it to steep for about 5-7 minutes, then remove the tea bag or strain the loose tea. Let the tea cool to room temperature.
  2. In a blender, combine the cooled rooibos tea, mixed berries, banana, Greek yogurt, honey, and ice cubes.
  3. Blend on high speed until the mixture is smooth and creamy, stopping to scrape down the sides as needed.
  4. Taste the smoothie and adjust sweetness by adding more honey if desired.
