Relish in a nostalgic journey with our Creamy Root Beer Float. This all-time classic dessert is not just a treat, it's a trip back to those lazy summer days of childhood. The perfect blend of creamy vanilla ice cream and fizzy root beer creates a frothy, refreshing delight that's perfect for cooling down on a hot summer day or for indulging in some sweet comfort during the colder months. It's more than a dessert, it's a fizzy, creamy memory in a glass.

Servings: 1

Ingredients

Premium vanilla ice cream
2 large scoops
Chilled root beer
1 can or bottle
Whipped cream
optional for topping
Maraschino cherries
optional for topping

Instructions

  1. Chill your serving glasses in the freezer for about 15 minutes before preparation. This helps to keep the Root Beer Float colder for longer.
  2. Take out your chilled glasses and place 2 large scoops of premium vanilla ice cream into each glass.
  3. Slowly pour the chilled root beer into the glass, over the ice cream. Pour slowly to allow the foam to rise and recede before adding more root beer. This helps avoid overflow and creates the perfect creamy froth.
  4. Optional: Top with a dollop of whipped cream and a maraschino cherry for that extra special touch.
  5. Serve immediately with a straw and long spoon, to enjoy the creamy ice cream and fizzy root beer together.
