Servings: 6
Ingredients
- All-purpose flour
- 1 ½ cups
- Fresh rosemary
- 2 tablespoons, finely chopped
- Sea salt
- 1 teaspoon, plus more for sprinkling
- Olive oil
- 3 tablespoons
- Warm water
- 1/2 cup
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, finely chopped rosemary, and 1 teaspoon of sea salt. Mix well until evenly distributed.
- Add the olive oil and warm water to the dry ingredients. Stir until a soft dough forms. If the dough is too sticky, add a little more flour until it is manageable.
- Transfer the dough onto a lightly floured surface and roll it out to about 1/8 inch thickness, ensuring an even surface to achieve uniform baking.
- Using a sharp knife or a pizza cutter, cut the dough into desired cracker shapes and sizes, such as squares or triangles. For a decorative touch, use cookie cutters for fun shapes.
- Place the cut crackers onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between them for expansion. Sprinkle with additional sea salt as desired.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crackers are golden brown and crispy. Keep a close eye on them in the last few minutes to prevent burning.
- Remove from the oven and let them cool completely on the baking sheet before serving. Enjoy them plain or paired with your favorite dips, cheeses, or spreads.
