Servings: 2

Ingredients

Water
2 cups
Black tea leaves
2 tablespoons
Milk
1 cup (whole milk, or any milk of your choice)
Sugar
2 to 4 tablespoons (adjust to taste)

Instructions

  1. In a small pot, bring 2 cups of water to a rolling boil.
  2. Once boiling, add 2 tablespoons of black tea leaves and reduce heat to low. Allow the tea to simmer for about 2 minutes to extract the flavors.
  3. Add 1 cup of milk to the pot and stir gently to combine. Increase the heat slightly and bring the mixture back to a gentle simmer, being careful not to let it boil over.
  4. Stir in 2 to 4 tablespoons of sugar, depending on your sweetness preference, and mix until fully dissolved.
  5. Remove the pot from heat and strain the tea into cups using a fine mesh strainer to catch the tea leaves.
  6. Serve immediately for a warm treat, or chill in the refrigerator for a refreshing cold beverage.
