Servings: 2
Ingredients
- Cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon for garnish
- Whipped cream
- 2 dollops
- Honey
- 2 teaspoons (optional)
- Ground cardamom
- 1/2 teaspoon
- Ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon
- Milk
- 2 cups
- Espresso
- 2 shots
Instructions
- Brew 2 shots of espresso and set aside. We recommend using a dark roast for a robust flavor.
- In a small saucepan, warm the milk over medium heat until hot but not boiling to avoid scalding.
- Add the ground cinnamon and cardamom to the hot milk, stirring well to ensure the spices are fully incorporated.
- Remove the saucepan from the heat. Whisk the milk vigorously until a frothy consistency is achieved. If you have a frother at home, you can use it for this step.
- Evenly distribute the brewed espresso between two cups. If desired, sweeten with honey to taste.
- Gently pour the spiced milk over the espresso in each cup, using a spoon to hold back the froth.
- Finish by spooning the froth onto the top of each cappuccino.
- Add a dollop of whipped cream to each cup for a touch of indulgence.
- Dust the top of each cappuccino with a sprinkle of cocoa powder for garnish.
- Serve immediately to enjoy the Sahara Sand Dune Cappuccino at its freshest and most flavorful!
