
Salmon Burger
These delicious salmon burgers are made with fresh salmon fillets and seasoned with herbs and spices.
Ingredients
- Mayonnaise (4 tablespoons)
- Red onion (1, thinly sliced)
- Tomato (1, sliced)
- Lettuce (4 leaves)
- Burger buns (4)
- Olive oil (2 tablespoons)
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
- Lemon zest (1 teaspoon)
- Dill (1 tablespoon, chopped)
- Green onions (2, finely chopped)
- Egg (1, beaten)
- Breadcrumbs (1/2 cup)
- Salmon fillets (1 lb, skinless and boneless)
Instructions
- In a food processor, pulse the salmon fillets until coarsely chopped.
- In a large bowl, combine the chopped salmon, breadcrumbs, beaten egg, green onions, dill, lemon zest, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape each portion into a patty.
- Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Cook the salmon patties for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until cooked through and golden brown.
- Toast the burger buns if desired.
- Spread mayonnaise on the bottom half of each bun.
- Place a salmon patty on top of the mayonnaise.
- Top with lettuce, tomato slices, and red onion slices.
- Cover with the top half of the bun.
- Serve the salmon burgers with your favorite side dish and enjoy!
