Salmon Tartare
A refreshing and elegant salmon tartare that beautifully blends French and Japanese culinary traditions. This dish highlights the delicate flavor of fresh salmon, complemented by a zesty soy-lime dressing and creamy avocado. Perfect as an appetizer for any occasion!
Ingredients
- 8 oz, skinless and boneless, diced Fresh salmon fillet
- 1, diced Avocado
- 2, finely chopped Green onions
- 2 tablespoons Soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon Lime juice
- 1 teaspoon Sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon (optional, adjust to taste) Wasabi paste
- to taste Salt
- 1 teaspoon, for garnish Black sesame seeds
- 1, sliced thin for serving Cucumber
- for serving Tortilla chips or toast points

Instructions
- In a medium bowl, combine the diced salmon, avocado, and green onions.
- In a separate small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, lime juice, sesame oil, wasabi paste (if using), and salt.
- Pour the dressing over the salmon mixture and gently fold to combine, being careful not to mash the avocado.
- Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for about 15-30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
- To serve, spoon the tartare onto a plate or into small serving dishes. Garnish with black sesame seeds.
- Serve chilled with thin cucumber slices and tortilla chips or toast points on the side.
