Experience a burst of flavors with this juicy burger, topped with a tangy and spicy homemade salsa verde, fresh, crunchy lettuce, a succulent slice of tomato, all nestled between a soft hamburger bun. The creamy, slightly spicy Monterey Jack cheese adds an extra layer of yumminess to this mouth-watering burger, making it a crowd-pleaser at any backyard barbecue or family gathering.

Ingredients

Tomato
4 slices
Lettuce
4 leaves
Hamburger buns
4
Monterey jack cheese
4 slices
Salsa verde
1 cup
Salt and pepper
to taste
Ground beef
1 pound

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  2. In a bowl, season the ground beef with salt and pepper. Mix well and form into 4 equal-sized patties.
  3. Place the patties on the grill and cook for about 5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
  4. During the last minute of cooking, top each patty with a slice of Monterey Jack cheese and close the grill lid to allow the cheese to melt.
  5. To assemble the burger, spread a generous amount of salsa verde on the bottom half of each bun.
  6. Place a lettuce leaf and a tomato slice on each bun, then top with the cheeseburger patty.
  7. Spread more salsa verde on the top half of each bun, then place it on top of the burger. Serve immediately and enjoy!
