Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C) to ensure a perfectly crispy crust.
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the Italian sausage, breaking it apart with a wooden spoon, until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the olive oil and minced garlic. Sauté for about 1 minute, until fragrant but not browned.
- Add the chopped broccoli rabe to the skillet. Cook for approximately 5 minutes, or until wilted. Season with salt and pepper to enhance the flavors.
- On a floured surface, roll out the pizza dough to your desired thickness, ensuring it fits your baking sheet or pizza stone.
- Transfer the rolled-out dough to a baking sheet or pizza stone. If using a pizza stone, make sure it's preheated for an extra crispy base.
- Spread the browned sausage evenly over the surface of the pizza dough.
- Top with the sautéed broccoli rabe, distributing it evenly.
- Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese generously over the toppings, followed by the grated Parmesan cheese for a rich flavor.
