Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C) to ensure a perfectly crispy crust.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the Italian sausage, breaking it apart with a wooden spoon, until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add the olive oil and minced garlic. Sauté for about 1 minute, until fragrant but not browned.
  4. Add the chopped broccoli rabe to the skillet. Cook for approximately 5 minutes, or until wilted. Season with salt and pepper to enhance the flavors.
  5. On a floured surface, roll out the pizza dough to your desired thickness, ensuring it fits your baking sheet or pizza stone.
  6. Transfer the rolled-out dough to a baking sheet or pizza stone. If using a pizza stone, make sure it's preheated for an extra crispy base.
  7. Spread the browned sausage evenly over the surface of the pizza dough.
  8. Top with the sautéed broccoli rabe, distributing it evenly.
  9. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese generously over the toppings, followed by the grated Parmesan cheese for a rich flavor.
  10. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbling.
  11. Once baked, remove from the oven and allow to cool for a few minutes before slicing. Serve hot and enjoy!
