Salted Caramel Italian Soda

- Sea salt
- 2 pinches
- Ice cubes

- Heavy cream
- 4 tablespoons
- Homemade salted caramel syrup
- 4 tablespoons
- Club soda
- 2 cups
- Sugar
- 1 cup
- Water
- 1/4 cup
- Salted butter
- 6 tablespoons
- Heavy cream
- 1/2 cup
- Sea salt flakes
- 1 teaspoon
Instructions
- To make the salted caramel syrup, heat 1 cup of sugar and 1/4 cup of water in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir until the sugar has dissolved.
- Once dissolved, stop stirring and let the mixture simmer until it turns a rich amber color.
- Add 6 tablespoons of salted butter, 1/2 cup of heavy cream, and 1 teaspoon of sea salt flakes. Stir until well combined. Allow the syrup to cool before use.
- Fill two glasses with ice cubes.
- Pour 1 cup of club soda into each glass.
- Add 2 tablespoons of the homemade salted caramel syrup to each glass.
- Add a pinch of sea salt to each glass and stir well.
- Top each glass with 2 tablespoons of heavy cream.
