Sandheko is a popular Nepali snack made with marinated vegetables and spices.
Ingredients
- Chat masala (1/2 teaspoon)
- Red chili powder (1/2 teaspoon)
- Black salt (1/2 teaspoon)
- Salt (to taste)
- Roasted cumin powder (1 teaspoon)
- Cilantro (1/4 cup, chopped)
- Lemon juice (2 tablespoons)
- Green chili (2, finely chopped)
- Onion (1, finely chopped)
- Tomato (2, diced)
- Cucumber (1, diced)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the diced cucumber, tomato, onion, and green chili.
- Add lemon juice, cilantro, roasted cumin powder, salt, black salt, red chili powder, and chat masala.
- Mix well until all the ingredients are evenly coated.
- Let it marinate for about 10 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.
- Serve the Sandheko as a refreshing and tangy appetizer.
