Savory Sausage and Cheddar Omelette

Ingredients

Butter

1 tablespoon

Black pepper

Salt

to taste

Cheddar cheese

1/2 cup, shredded

Eggs

3 large

Sausage

1/2 cup, crumbled (cooked)

Instructions

1. In a bowl, crack the eggs and beat them well with a pinch of salt and black pepper until frothy.
2. In a non-stick skillet, heat the butter over medium heat until melted and bubbling.
3. Pour the beaten eggs into the skillet, tilting the pan to spread them evenly. Cook for about 1 minute until the edges begin to set.
4. Sprinkle the crumbled sausage and shredded cheddar cheese evenly over one half of the omelette.
5. Using a spatula, gently fold the other half of the omelette over the filling to create a half-moon shape.
6. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the omelette is cooked through but still tender.
7. Carefully slide the omelette onto a plate and serve hot, garnished with additional black pepper or fresh herbs if desired.
