Ingredients

Swiss chard
1 bunch, washed and chopped
Canned chickpeas
1 can (15 oz), drained and rinsed
Cherry tomatoes
2 cups, halved
Garlic
3 cloves, minced
Olive oil
3 tablespoons
Lemon juice
2 tablespoons
Salt
1/2 teaspoon, or to taste
Black pepper
1/4 teaspoon, or to taste
Red pepper flakes
1/4 teaspoon, optional for heat
Feta cheese
1/2 cup, crumbled (optional, for serving)

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute, until fragrant.
  3. Add the chopped Swiss chard to the skillet, stirring occasionally, and cook for about 3-4 minutes until wilted.
  4. Stir in the chickpeas and halved cherry tomatoes. Cook for an additional 5-7 minutes, until the tomatoes are softened and everything is heated through.
  5. Season with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using). Stir in the lemon juice.
  6. Remove from heat and serve warm, topped with crumbled feta cheese if desired.
