Ingredients

Original recipe serves 4

Butter
2 tablespoons
Fresh garlic
3 cloves, minced
Onion
1 large, sliced
Fresh parsley
2 tablespoons, chopped (for garnish)
Mushrooms
8 ounces, sliced (any variety you prefer)
Salt
1/2 teaspoon (to taste)
Black pepper
1/4 teaspoon (to taste)

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat the butter over medium heat until melted and bubbly.
  2. Add the sliced mushrooms to the skillet. Cook for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally until the mushrooms begin to brown and release their juices.
  3. Add the sliced onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Continue to sauté for an additional 5-7 minutes, or until the onions are soft and translucent, and the mixture is fragrant.
  4. Season with salt and black pepper, stirring to combine and enhance the flavors.
  5. Remove from heat. Sprinkle with fresh chopped parsley for a burst of color and freshness.
  6. Serve hot as a delicious side dish with your favorite main course, such as grilled steak, roasted chicken, or pasta.
