Ingredients

  • Sesame seeds (1 tablespoon, toasted)
  • Green onions (2, chopped)
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)
  • Chicken broth (1 cup)
  • Rice wine (1 tablespoon)
  • Soy sauce (2 tablespoons)
  • Ginger (1 inch piece, minced)
  • Garlic (3 cloves, minced)
  • Sesame oil (2 tablespoons)
  • Chicken thighs (4, boneless and skinless)

Instructions

  1. Heat the sesame oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the chicken thighs and cook until browned on both sides, about 5 minutes per side. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add the garlic and ginger and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  4. Add the soy sauce, rice wine, and chicken broth to the skillet and bring to a simmer.
  5. Return the chicken to the skillet, cover, and simmer for 20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Serve the chicken topped with the chopped green onions and toasted sesame seeds.
