Servings: 4

Ingredients

Shanghai noodles
8 ounces
Pork loin
1 pound, thinly sliced
Vegetable oil
2 tablespoons
Garlic
4 cloves, minced
Carrots
2, julienned
Bok choy
2 cups, chopped
Green onions
4, sliced (plus more for garnish)
Soy sauce
3 tablespoons
Oyster sauce
2 tablespoons
Sugar
1 teaspoon

Instructions

  1. Cook the Shanghai noodles according to the package instructions, then drain and set aside.
  2. In a bowl, combine the sliced pork with soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sugar. Allow it to marinate for at least 15 minutes to enhance the flavor.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a wok or large frying pan over medium heat.
  4. Add the minced garlic to the hot oil and stir-fry for about 30 seconds until fragrant, taking care not to burn it.
  5. Add the marinated pork to the wok and stir-fry until the pork is cooked through and no longer pink, approximately 4-5 minutes.
  6. Incorporate the chopped bok choy and julienned carrots into the wok, stirring frequently until the vegetables are tender yet crisp, about 3-4 minutes.
  7. Toss in the cooked Shanghai noodles and sliced green onions, and stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes until everything is well combined and heated through.
  8. Serve hot, garnished with additional green onions if desired.
