Ingredients
- Dried rose petals
- 1/2 cup
- Water
- 4 cups, divided (3 cups for steeping and 1 cup for syrup)
- Sugar
- 1 cup
- Lemon juice
- 1/4 cup, freshly squeezed
- Ice cubes

Instructions
- Begin by placing the dried rose petals in a bowl and covering them with 3 cups of boiling water. Allow the petals to steep for 20 minutes, infusing the water with their fragrant essence.
- After steeping, strain the rose petals using a fine mesh sieve, reserving the beautifully colored liquid.
- In a saucepan, combine the reserved rose petal liquid with 1 cup of water and the sugar. Bring this mixture to a gentle boil, stirring continuously until the sugar is completely dissolved.
- Once the sugar syrup is ready, remove the saucepan from heat and add the freshly squeezed lemon juice. Stir well to combine the flavors.
- Allow the mixture to cool to room temperature, then transfer it to a pitcher and refrigerate until chilled.
- To serve, fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the chilled sharbat over the ice, allowing it to swirl beautifully.
