Ingredients
- Saffron strands (a few)

- Mixed dry fruits (almonds, pistachios, cashews) (1/2 cup, finely chopped)
- Dates (1/2 cup, finely chopped)
- Sugar (1/2 cup)
- Milk (1 liter)
- Ghee (2 tablespoons)
- Vermicelli (1/2 cup)
Instructions
- Heat 2 tablespoons of ghee in a pan over medium heat. Add the vermicelli and roast gently, stirring continuously until it turns a golden-brown color. Be careful not to burn it.
- In a separate large pot, bring the milk to a boil. Once it starts boiling, reduce the heat to low, and add the roasted vermicelli. Simmer until the vermicelli is fully cooked.
- Add 1/2 cup of sugar to the pot and stir until it is completely dissolved.
- Next, add the finely chopped dates and mixed dry fruits to the pot. Stir well to combine.
- Sprinkle in the cardamom powder and add a few saffron strands for a touch of color and a subtle, aromatic flavor.
- Cook the mixture on low heat for 5-7 minutes until it thickens to a creamy consistency.
- Serve the Sheer Kurma hot or chilled, as per your preference. It can be garnished with a few extra chopped dry fruits or a sprinkle of cardamom powder before serving.
