
Shrimp and Broccoli Stir Fry
This delicious shrimp and broccoli stir fry is a quick and easy meal packed with flavor and nutrients.
Ingredients
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
- Vegetable oil (2 tablespoons)
- Water (1/4 cup)
- Cornstarch (1 tablespoon)
- Sesame oil (1 tablespoon)
- Soy sauce (3 tablespoons)
- Ginger (1 tablespoon, grated)
- Garlic (3 cloves, minced)
- Broccoli (1 head, cut into florets)
- Shrimp (1 pound, peeled and deveined)
Instructions
- In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, sesame oil, cornstarch, and water. Set aside.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add minced garlic and grated ginger to the skillet and cook for 1 minute, until fragrant.
- Add shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes, until pink and cooked through. Remove shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add broccoli florets and cook for 3-4 minutes, until tender-crisp.
- Return the shrimp to the skillet and pour the sauce mixture over the shrimp and broccoli.
- Stir well to coat everything in the sauce and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, until the sauce thickens.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve the shrimp and broccoli stir fry hot over steamed rice or noodles.
