Fresh Parsley
1/4 cup, chopped
Lemon Juice
2 tablespoons
White Wine
1/2 cup
Shrimp
1 pound, peeled and deveined
Garlic
4 cloves, minced
Butter
2 tablespoons
Olive Oil
2 tablespoons
Angel Hair Pasta
8 ounces

Instructions

  1. Cook the angel hair pasta in a large pot of salted boiling water according to the package instructions. Once cooked, drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil and butter over medium heat until the butter is completely melted.
  3. Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté until it becomes fragrant. This should take about 1 minute.
  4. Add the shrimp to the skillet. Cook the shrimp until they turn pink, which should take about 2-3 minutes per side. Once cooked, remove the shrimp from the skillet and set them aside.
  5. Pour the white wine and lemon juice into the skillet. Bring the mixture to a simmer and continue to cook for 2-3 minutes so that the alcohol in the wine can evaporate.
  6. Return the cooked shrimp to the skillet. Stir in the chopped parsley and season the mixture with salt and pepper according to your taste.
  7. To serve, divide the cooked angel hair pasta among the plates. Top each serving of pasta with the shrimp and sauce.
