
Smoked Salmon and Dill Omelette
This delicious omelette is filled with smoked salmon and fresh dill, creating a flavorful and satisfying breakfast or brunch dish.
Ingredients
- Butter (1 tablespoon)
- Black pepper (to taste)
- Salt (to taste)
- Fresh dill (2 tablespoons, chopped)
- Smoked salmon (100g, thinly sliced)
- Eggs (4)
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk the eggs until well beaten. Season with salt and black pepper.
- Heat the butter in a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
- Pour the beaten eggs into the skillet and let them cook undisturbed for a minute.
- Using a spatula, gently lift the edges of the omelette and tilt the skillet to allow the uncooked eggs to flow to the edges.
- Once the omelette is mostly set but still slightly runny on top, place the smoked salmon slices and chopped dill on one half of the omelette.
- Fold the other half of the omelette over the filling and cook for another minute to warm the salmon.
- Slide the omelette onto a plate and cut it in half to serve.
- Garnish with additional fresh dill, if desired.
